On January 13, 2025, MAV participated in Plugfest, an event held at the Deluxe studios in Los Angeles that brought together content producers, distributors, communities, and solution developers to discuss accessibility in films and audiovisual productions.
Plugfest, a joint initiative by DCDC, ISDCF, and InterSociety, is a global leader in the development of inclusive tools.
Represented by CEO and Accessibility Director Rafael Parlatore, MAV showcased MLOAD, its innovative mobile accessibility solution. MLOAD enables users to access descriptive subtitles, audio description, and sign language directly on their mobile devices, ensuring accessible navigation while adhering to the highest security standards.
During the presentation, MAV emphasized its commitment to creating high-quality, accessible resources for people with disabilities, who make up 15% of the world’s population. Additionally, it reaffirmed its mission to contribute to the advancement of solutions that promote inclusion and enhance communication accessibility on a broader scale.
