MAV Brings Content Accessibility to Expocine 25 and Participates in a Panel on Inclusion in the Audiovisual Industry

FromSeptember 30 to October 3, theRenaissance Hotel in São Paulo will host the 12th edition of Expocine—the largest gathering of the Latin American film industry. And this year, the event will be even more inclusive:MAV will beresponsible for ensuringcontent accessibility at all panels, offeringreal-time captions in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, as well assign language interpretation.

The technology used will beVOX LOAD, which allows for the simultaneous generation and distribution of subtitles to mobile devices without the need to download apps, in addition to displaying the subtitles on screen.

OnOctober 3, at 10 a.m., MAV will also participate in the panel“Screen Without Barriers: Audiovisual Media with True Accessibility, which will discuss the practices, technologies, and shifts in mindset needed to advance representation and accessibility in cinema.

The panel will consist ofMarcella Fazzio, director of MAV;Leandro Mendes, secretary of regulation at Ancine; andTiago Mafra, the new director of ABRAPLEX, withEdgar Jacques serving as moderator.
